Pony Club is an ideal sport or hobby for young people as it not only teaches them a new skill but ultimatley encourages many aspects of overall development including : Self confidence,personal growth and responsibility, team work and most of all a “fun and active club atmosphere” where they can meet and make new friends.

The Ice Cream Van

Rob Turnball is the new ice cream vendor in Ulverston and Furness.  He is available for all sorts of events, including weddings!  Treat yourself to a traditional ice cream cone and enjoy the Lake District’s best ice cream by English Lakes.

Children might want a bit of colour and opt for Mr. Bubble, Ribena, Fab, Screwball, Cornettos, Refreshers, Magnums or a Chunky Choc Ice.

Rob is now on Facebook and will let you know where he is going to be, when he is off on his travels.  He is also on Foursquare and will check in when he makes long stops!

Christopher creates a safe and disciplined environment in which children and young people can develop themselves, strengthen their bodies and increase their emotional balance.

Children’s Craft Parties- Cumbria Glass Fusing

Why not give your child (or your mother) a party they will never forget?

Children love Marilyn!   Even as a busy registered child minder she always found time to facilitate very extravagant craft making with them. She loves children and she loves arts and crafts.

Marilyn is an ‘Deco Art Helping Artist’ and a volunteer for the Art Foundation Charity. A graduate of the University of Central Lancashire, she recently retired from teaching to concentrate on working in her own studio.

Children’s Parties are held for up to 6 children in the studio or we can come to your venue for larger groups.

We are a carnival band with performers of all ages, featuring musicians, drummers, dancers and stilt walkers all in fabulous costumes. Based in Barrow-in-Furness at the Nan Tait Centre, we provide workshops for beginners and more advanced performers as well as creative workshops for teenagers. We are all about having fun, dressing up and celebrating whilst learning new skills at the same time. It is easy to get to us by train, as we are only 5 minutes away from the train station or by bus from Ulverston or Kendal, if you get off at the bus stop in Abbey Road.
