Roots and Shoots is a community based healthy eating and organic growing project, we aim to:

* Reconnect with where food comes from
* Encourage people to grow their own organic fruit and vegetables
* Eat seasonal products
* Teach the preparation of food – fun and tasty
* Work with people of all ages

The Ice Cream Van

Rob Turnball is the new ice cream vendor in Ulverston and Furness. He is available for all sorts of events, including weddings! Treat yourself to a traditional ice cream cone and enjoy the Lake District’s best ice cream by English Lakes.

Children might want a bit of colour and opt for Mr. Bubble, Ribena, Fab, Screwball, Cornettos, Refreshers, Magnums or a Chunky Choc Ice.Rob is now on Facebook and will let you know where he is going to be, when he is off on his travels. He is also on Foursquare and will check in when he makes long stops!
