Horse Riding Lessons and Adult Pony Club

We are able to offer a wide variety of general lessons to suit everyone, catering for the total beginner to the more advanced rider. Lessons can be taken outside in the summer months or all year round in our full size indoor arena.

Lessons are available on either a private basis (one-to-one instruction), or as part of a group. All lessons are taught by a fully qualified member of staff.

Call us today and book a lesson to either learn an exciting new sport/pastime or simply to brush up on you existing horsemanship.

Meditation Centre in Ulverston!

Located above the World Peace Café in a beautiful, peaceful space.  You are welcome to use this room when the café is open, to relax, think, or just breathe…Short lunch-time meditations on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a free drink in the café afterwards.  Evening classes on Thursdays including tea, biscuits and friendly company!

Classes are led by teachers from nearby Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre

Christopher Shaw delivers Health and Wellbeing training to a range of organisations in the North West of England. He teaches seminars in England and Wales and classes and one to one therapeutic sessions in Dalton, Ulverston and Kendal.

Based in the beautiful Lake District, The Craft Studio Glass Works provides glass fusing and slumping courses in the refurbished studio alongside many other crafts.

Following much demand, she has launched Jewellery Parties with a difference!Not only can you buy a bespoke piece of jewellery that takes your fancy, but you can even commission or make your own design. Marilyn will walk you through your ideas and help you come up with a really stunning design. She will take this away and fire it. You will get your very own gorgeous creation delivered a few days later!

Getting married?  Have a hen party with Marilyn and you could be designing the jewellery to match the bridesmaid’s dresses.
