Coach House Studio

The studio is situated in 9 acres of Parkland, just beneath Hoad hill and the Sir John Barrow monument.

It is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ulverston, where there are many cafes, pubs and takeaways.

A live room 30ft x 15ft  (accomodating large and small bands)
Natural Light
Accoustically treated to provide a perfect environment for amplified music
In-house equipment-drum kit, guitar and bass amplifiers and PA with up to 4 mics
Recently updated recording equibment (thanks to a grant from the Youth Opportunities Fund)

For the technophiles we have a 32 channel Soundcraft ghost mixing console, an Alesis HD24 digital recorder, and lots of yummy outboard equipment.

We also have many professional microphones; all you need to make a first class demo.

Colin Williams, our resident sound engineer, has been recording local bands for almost 20 years. He is also a musician who is able to help and advise young bands on getting the best from their session. However if you wish to bring in your own engineer Ford Park will be happy to discuss a special price for the hire of the room and use of our equipment.
