Not only is cranio-sacral therapy deeply relaxing, but it assists the body's natural healing process, increasing physical vitality and well-being.  It encourages balance in the nervous system, organs and musculoskeletal system. 

 

It is a gentle, non-manipulative treatment, carried out  sitting or lying, fully clothed whilst Lynn 'listens' to the body with her hands, and tunes in to the rhythms and pulsations of the cerebrospinal system, the system that bathes all of the nerves.  This is why it is so effective in the treatment of pain relief.

 

This means that as the body totally relaxes, the mind becomes still and healing can take place.  In the still point of complete relaxation, stress and tension are released, and the energy that was used to hold onto pain and illness, can be liberated and used in the healing process.

 

Lynn has successfully treated chronic pain conditions, migraines, digestive disorders, depression and anxiety and much more.  She has completed specialist courses in New Zealand working with Mothers and Babies in pregnancy and after the birth.

 

Lynn has been working in the health and healing arena for more than 15 years, and is locally well known for her gentle but powerful work.
